About Genacross Family and Youth Services

Residential and Community-based Treatment

Genacross Family and Youth Services works with children and youth ages 6 to 21, who have had multiple previous placements. Most residential placements come from hospitalization, detention, or administrative discharge from institutional settings. Children and youth usually have significant emotional and behavioral needs that have interfered with past placement success. Our programs offer a highly structured daily routine, which includes teaching social, coping, and independent living skills, as well as participating in community activities.

Genacross operates several group homes in northwest Ohio and the Maumee Youth Center, a residential center situated on 13 acres in rural Henry County, Ohio.
